The VVHS girl soccer teams played two preseason matches this week at Basic and Bonanza High Schools. The Lady Dawgs tied Basic 1-1 on Tuesday 9/8. Kallie Graves had the tying goal with two minutes remaining in the match. Marlene Quiarte had the assist. “I’m proud of the girls,” said Bulldog coach Bob Snell. “We had only 12 ladies available for the game. The girls were gassed at the end of the game. Proud of the way they hung in to the end of the game.” The Dawgs face Bonanza Friday at Bonanza.
