Virgin Valley Artists Association offers summer clay art lessons for children.  Taught by Kathleen Birkholz, the 2-day classes are open to ages 8 to 14.  Two more summer classes will run August 12 and 13, and August 19 and 20.  Fee for the 2-day class is $25, with students completing a unique clay object each week.   Wednesday-Thursday classes are held 1-3pm, at the VVAA Pottery Studio, Room 30, Bldg. 8, at the Mesquite Campus.

Enrollment for these classes is still open, and can be completed at the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery, or the Pottery Studio. Enroll before class day to allow preparation of materials.  For more information, call Kathleen Birkholz at 702-443-4878.
