It’s now official: Automotive Certified Technicians (ACT) has moved to their new location across from Star Nursery at 546 Commerce Circle, just a block east of where they were before.

The move was necessary according to owner Keith Browning, to be able to provide more services to their customers as the industry continually changes.

“We’re excited to be here,” said Browning.

This particular model of paint booth is double walled and has an exhaust system that is 99.8% efficient and gives off relatively less noise to the surrounding area when operational. The new location ads a new ‘toy’ for his crew, a state-of-the-art paint booth for all of their detail needs. Browning will also be able to hire several more employees to the business.

ACT has operated in Mesquite for the past 15 years, and has won the title of the MLN’s Best Auto Repair for most of the 11 years that the contest has existed.

But Browning and ACT couldn’t have done this move alone. Together with Mesquite Regional Business, Browning was able to secure a financial package developed by the Bank of Nevada and MRB’s Revolving Loan Fund, a tool that many businesses may have the opportunity to benefit from for many years to come.

“We couldn’t have done any of this without MRB,” Browning added. “This is only going to increase our services and serve our customers in many more ways than have been possible before.”

As of August 3, the new location has been open and operational, customized with several mechanical bays, the paint booth, and a cozy waiting room fitted with a leather couch and flat screen television. Their showroom for their products available is also much more welcoming than before, allowing them to keep more on the floor for their customers to choose from.

ACT is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For a full list of services available, stop by and say hi to Jason and Royce, or visit their website at www.acttires.com. ACT will also pick up, repair and deliver your vehicle for their customers, if needed. They can be reached during normal business hours at 702-346-1917.
