July 24, 1882 – Men continue to repair canal from flood damage 12 men down with the chills leaving 9 available to continue the work.

July 27, 1897- mail resumed to Mesquite with the establishment of a permanent post office. Carlos S Knight was the Postmaster.

July 30, 1922-Mariah Huntsman early settler of Bunkerville passed away. She was married to Dudley Leavitt on Aug. 12, 1855 . They had 12 children.

July 27, 1994 – Taxi service begins in Mesquite.
