July 4, 1881: Large community gathering for Independence Day.

July 1929: 24 Cars counted in one hour. An estimated 369 cars had passed the Virgin Valley on the arrowhead trail for the month.

July 1934: The Elward Theatre opened. The name of the theatre came about by combining Elmer Hughes and Howard Pulsipher’s first names. They were the builders and first owner/operators.

July 10, 1936: Big flood in Bunkerville.
