To the Editor:

I don’t know which of the two statements in the editorial [Finally, some common sense compromise from the BLM on Grazing, MLN June 18, 2015] was the more ludicrous: the one implying that cattle will stop eating grass when the “stubble height” is down to four inches; or the one suggesting that if the grass isn’t all eaten up by cows it will dry out and contribute to wild fires!

Please, in the future, don’t insult your readership’s intelligence by the use of such ridiculous logic.
