Graduating Senior, Kaitlyn Frump, looks forward to beginning her college years.  Frump is the only Nevada resident in history to receive the Horatio Alger Scholarship.  Frump graduates having received over eighty thousand dollars in scholarship money.  Frump plans on utilizing those scholarships to help her on her way to realizing her dream which is to earn an MBA and ultimately becoming the CEO of a major corporation. Photo by Teri Nehrenz.

Graduates were able to spend the night at the Mesquite Recreation Center last Thursday, June 4 as the Mesquite Police Department sponsored another successful Grad Night. The event, which has been an annual tradition, ensures that the graduating class is safe while having unlimited fun. This year, that fun included ‘bubbles’ in the gym, allowing the teens to do things they normally wouldn’t. Photo by McQuade Chesley.
