2X’S POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY/WARRANT ARREST – LITTLEFIELD (ARIZONA STRIP)

Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Theresa Carmillia Hardy, 33, of Littlefield, Friday(6/12) afternoon on two counts of possession of stolen property, felonies, and a failure to appear misdemeanor warrant issued by North Canyon Justice Court.  Approximately 1:50 p.m., deputies contacted Hardy outside of a residence in the 130 block of Littlefield Lane regarding her active warrant. Deputies observed Hardy standing in the front yard near a turquoise golf cart.  Deputies recognized the golf cart from a reported stolen incident on May 25, 2015.  Hardy advised that she located the golf cart stuck in the sand.  Hardy further advised that she was able to get the golf cart free from being stuck and she brought it to her house expecting the owner to come along and claim it.  Deputies advised Hardy that she was under arrest.  Deputies followed Hardy into the residence and observed a .22 caliber rifle inside the house.  A computer check showed Hardy to have had a felony conviction.  During the investigation, deputies also located a reported stolen 16-foot box trailer in the front yard.  During conversations with Hardy, she said that she has had the trailer a few years.  A computer check showed the trailer was reported stolen in January of 2015 to the St George Police Department in Utah.  Hardy was taken into custody without incident. She was transported and booked into the Mesquite Jail.
