Ethan Garlick, Littlefield Cub Scout Pack 42 by The Church of Latter-day Saints, received the highest rank in Cub Scouts on Tuesday, June 23, 2015. Kelton Chamberlain, representing Akela, talked to Ethan about the Arrow of Light Award and the significance and importance of the award before presenting an arrow to Ethan. Mr. Chamberlain dressed in an Indian headdress and explained the Arrow of Light award and challenged Ethan to continue quickly on the path to becoming an Eagle Scout.

Ethan is the son of DeWayne and Suzanne Garlick. The Garlicks recently moved to Logandale where Ethan will join a Boy Scout troop and continue in scouting.

Cubmaster, Beth King, expressed the following: “Ethan has been very active in Cub Scouting and we will miss having him and his family in Cubs. I know he will get his Eagle Scout award. I am proud to work with such fine boys.”
