While we began saying our farewells to our Mesquite snowbirds, local Mesquite REALTORS® were busy closing 51 residential properties during the month of May 2015.

An additional 61properties went into pending status for closure at a later date. Although this information does include some new home sales, it does not include all new home or private (for sale by owner) home sales.

Real estate professionals reported that 28 single family homes closed/sold during May 2015.  The lowest priced home, a 3 bedroom/2 bath, 1399 SF home in the Jack Hardy neighborhood sold for $139,900; the highest priced homes, a 3 bedroom/2.5 bath, 2408 SF home in the Prominence Point subdivision of Sun City sold for $530,000.

During this same time, 6 condos and 11 townhomes sold.  A 996 SF 2 bedroom/2 bath home in the Rock Springs Condo community sold for $68,500; a 3 bedroom/2 bath, 1364 SF home located in the Hawk Ridge community sold for $126,000. The lowest priced townhome residence, an 1148 SF, 2 bedroom/1.75 bath home in the Scenic View subdivision sold for $121,000; the highest priced townhome residence, a 2 bedroom/2 bath, 1690 SF home in the Sunset Greens neighborhood sold for $225,000.

One manufactured home sold. The home is a 3 bedroom/2 bath, 1232 SF home in the Hacienda Estates community and, it sold for $82,000.

Five residential lots sold. The highest was a .55 acre in Calais sold for $155,000, and the lowest priced lot,  a .14 acre lot in the Shadow Hawk subdivision, sold for $26,000.
