On Wednesday, April 22, Klasik Kloset Consignment Boutique owner Sandi Sorenson and her guests celebrated the business’ 15-year anniversary. In that time, the store has been in its current location at 312 W Mesquite Boulevard, Suite 114, seeing changes in the businesses around as well as changes in the names the now Mesquite Plaza has seen. For years, the entrance was guarded by two green arches celebrating the Virgin Valley High School’s sports accomplishments during the 1980’s and 1990’s, dubbing it as Bulldog Plaza. Since then, it has been renamed to Mesquite Plaza, although the locals still refer to it as Bulldog Plaza.

For Sorenson and her crew, though, it will remain home to Klasik Kloset Consignment Boutique. “With the community’s support, we will continue on,” she said.

Sorenson prides herself in providing specialty items, including those that are often sought by the Red Hat Society. This week, the boutique has a special shipment of Kentucky Derby hats available for this Saturday’s race.

Stop by the store this week during normal business hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
