April 16, 1909: Rio Virgin Telephone Company/Telegraph Company now has wire enough to connect Bunkerville, Mesquite and Littlefield.
April 30, 1949: Special meeting of Mesquite Farmstead Water Association. Motion made by Orval Abbott to give power to the board to do as they saw fit or were able to do to complete well, install pump etc. Well water and present water supply tasted and found pleasing to the taste.
April 30, 1914: Men working on telephone line came home today. Line almost complete.
