Bulldog boys and girls track teams place fourth at Faith Lutheran meet

Lady Dawg Taylor Bryant continues to shine for The Dawgs in her specialties, the pole vault and 100 m hurdles. Bryant won both events Wednesday March 25 at Faith Lutheran against four opponents. Bryant won the pole vault with a height of 9’6” and the hurdles in a time of 16:56. Bryant was also a member of the relay team which placed first in the 4X100m. Emma Dodenbier won the 800m run and Dylan Bryant took a third in the pole vault to lead the Dawgs. Host Faith had 167 points to win the meet. The Dawgs totaled 47 points for fourth place.

The Bulldog men scored 56.5 points, good enough for fourth place, in the meet. Kai Mitchell led the Dawgs with a third in the long jump and a tie in the high with teammate Devin Cox. Todd Benell had a second in the triple jump and Dallen Wolf, Ryan Rushton and Pedro Osuna placed third in their specialties. The Dawgs will travel to Mojave on April 6 before hosting their last meet of the season on April 15.
