The men and women of Mesquite Fire Rescue continue to share the “Vial of Life” program with the Mesquite Community. FireFighter/Paramedic Spencer Lewis said, “It has been such a success that we have already distributed 3000 of the 4000 bottles that were donated by Smith’s Food & Drug!”

Captain William Martinez and his crew went to the Mesquite Senior Center today (2/19/2015) and passed out nearly 120 vials just during the lunch hours. All of the Shift Captains have now had experiences on numerous emergency calls, where the “Vial of Life” has been found in the refrigerator and utilized. Having this information readily available is one less thing the patient and family members have to worry about during this stressful time.

Fire Chief Kash Christopher reiterated, “Our crews continue to demonstrate their exceptional commitment to this community daily. They like to make a difference in the lives of those they serve!”

Spencer Lewis will be doing a small FREE presentation on the Vial of Life program at the Clark County Mesquite LIBRARY, Friday, February 27 at 11 a.m. If you haven’t picked up your “Vial” yet, mark your calendars.
