UNLAWFUL FLIGHT/DISORDERLY CONDUCT/RECKLESS DRIVING – SCENIC
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kathryn Lyn Ensign, 52, of Mesquite, NV,Sunday (2/8) afternoon for unlawful flight from law enforcement – felony, reckless driving – misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct – misdemeanor. Approximately 5:55 p.m. deputies responded to a report of a female subject sitting in a lawn chair in the area of Scenic Blvd and Chaparral Drive. Deputies contacted Ensign who seemed disoriented. A family member was contacted and responded to the scene. Ensign was placed in the passenger seat of the family member’s vehicle. While the deputy was speaking with the family member, Ensign moved to the driver’s seat and left the scene in the vehicle. Deputies attempted to stop Ensign for approximately 2 miles. She was later stopped and taken into custody without further incident. She was transported and booked into the Mesquite jail.
