The Virgin Valley High School wrestling team finished third Saturday morning at the Nevada State Wrestling Tournament behind first place Pahrump Valley and host Lowery High School. Bulldog Juan Dominguez repeated last year’s win by pinning three straight opponents to win the 120lbs. class. Cash Crandall added points to the Bulldog total placing fourth at 126 Lbs. Domingo Ramirez also placed fourth in the 132 Lbs. weight classification. Brock Smith finished second in the 160 Lbs. weight classification. The Bulldogs led early in the tournament but had only one qualifier at 170 Lbs. and no qualifiers above that.
