Local Mc Donald’s owners Dave and Collette Price are teaming up with Smith’s Food & Drug at 350 N Sandhill Boulevard from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday Jan. 31, hosting an annual food drive to benefit Mesquite’s local food banks.
The Price family will volunteer during the event by handing out food drive wish lists and assisting shoppers in making donations. Monetary donations are also welcome throughout the day to benefit the Ronald McDonald House in Las Vegas for an entire year.
The food drive serves as a great opportunity for community members to help support Mesquite families in need. Donating to the Ronald McDonald House also supports a resource that families in Mesquite might need to utilize someday, if their children require treatment in Las Vegas.
