Happy New Year! Many folks are celebrating the New Year in their new Mesquite home
During the month of December 2014, there was a combination of 36 single family, condominium, and townhome residences closed/sold, as well as 2 residential lots. An additional 36 properties have pending status for closing at a later date. Although this information does include some new home sales, it does not include all new home or private (for sale by owner) home sales. All of the homes sold were listed by local Mesquite real estate companies.
Real estate professionals reported that 24 single family homes closed/sold during December 2014. The lowest priced home, a 3 bedroom/2 bath, 1045 SF home in the Rising Star neighborhood sold for $125,000; the highest priced home, a 3 bedroom/ 4 bath, 4324 SF home in the Calais subdivision sold for $849,000.
During this same time, 4 condos and 8 townhomes sold. Condominium sales ranged from $36,000 for a studio home in the Smokey Lane Condo development to $124,000 for a 2 bedroom, 1.75 bath in the Enchantment area. The lowest priced townhome residence, a 1095 SF, 2 bedroom/2 bath home in the Crossings subdivision sold for $125,000; the highest priced townhome residence, a 3 bedroom/3 bath, 2773SF home in the Calais Townhomes complex sold for $350,000.
