NDOT to Conduct Controlled Brush Burn Along SR 160 from Jan 27-29

The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) maintenance crew will conduct a 21-mile permitted controlled brush burn to remove tumble weeds along the center median of State Route 160 in southwest Clark County beginning at 7:00 a.m., January 27 until 2:20 p.m., January 29.

A water truck will be on hand, and the Clark County Fire District will observe the propane torch burn taking place between Mile Posts 22 and 43.

Two message boards will notify motorists. Although there will be no traffic restrictions, delays are still possible. Please use caution while travelling through the work zone. For current road information go to: www.nvroads.com
