THEFT/DRUGS – LITTLEFIELD (AZ STRIP)
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Mark A Myers, 51, of Littlefield, early Thursday (1/15) evening for theft of means of transportation, felony, along with knowingly display false license plate and possession of prescription only drugs, misdemeanors. Approximately 5:50 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on a Chevrolet passenger vehicle in the 3700 block of Rio Virgin Road and contacted Myers, the driver. Dispatch advised the license plate on the vehicle was registered to Myers, but belonged to a 1988 Ford pick-up truck. A computer check using the vehicle identification number showed the vehicle was reported stolen to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Deputies ordered Myers out of the vehicle where he was taken into custody without incident. A search of Myers revealed two pills identified as prescription pills. He was transported and booked into the Mesquite Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
