As the Host Club, FC Mesquite is responsible for providing the volunteer Field Marshals to cover 10 soccer fields around the Virgin Valley, utilizing, the favorite MSEC, VVHS, Rec Center, Woodbury, Hughes Middle School & Bunkerville soccer fields.
We are expecting 126 teams from all over Utah. If anyone would like to volunteer to be a field marshal, (very EASY, no soccer skills required), contact Lindy Hulet at 702-219-2774 or email board.fcmesquite@gmail.com.
This weekend they will need volunteers on Friday and Saturday from about 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. There are four different time slots, so volunteers are not committed to that whole time block. Volunteers are also needed on Monday, January 19 from 7:45 – 11 a.m. This weekend’s initial event will bring 126 boys teams in the U12 – U18 category.
Next weekend, the tournament will only be on Friday & Saturday and volunteer positions are open in several slots from 7:15 a.m. to 9 p.m. this will be the biggest turnout yet, with 177 teams and families for the boys and girls U9 – U11 category.
If you are unable to commit to a specific time slot, please consider coming out to see the awesome event that brings so many great soccer players and their families! Mesquite will have 4 teams playing in this year’s tournaments.
The Presidents Cup will wrap up the weekend of February 12 – 16 with approximately 120 girls teams in the U12-U18 category.
