The Virgin Valley High School Bulldog girls faced a rebuilding Faith Lutheran High School Tuesday night in Las Vegas and came out on the short end of a 62-38 score. As it was last year, turnovers were the bane of the Lady Dawgs as they trailed 34-13 at the half. The Crusaders continued to press and led 48-22 after three periods of play. The Dawgs managed to score 16 points in the fourth period to make the final score 62-38. Center Kourtney Metzger and Emma Barnum led the Dawgs with eight points each followed by Spencer Green with seven points.
The Lady Bulldogs travel to Page, Arizona this weekend before hosting Moapa Valley on December 11 in a league game.
