The Bulldogs first match of the night was almost a no-show for their opponent as only four matches were actually contested. Although fielding an almost complete team in their first match against Moapa, the Miners chose not to wrestle in 7 matches. Winning by forfeiture were Ty Smith (106lbs), Jacob Baird (113lbs), Juan Dominguez (120lbs), Cash Crandall (126lbs), Domingo Ramirez (132lbs), Raphael DeSantiago (152lbs) and Broc Smith (160lbs). Bulldog Cresent Crandall (145lbs) lost a close match on points 14-13 and Cache Burnside (170lbs) lost his match 13-6. Winning their matches were Caleb Linge (195lbs) by major fall 19-11 and Hector Garcia (285lbs) also by major fall 10-2.

More of the Bulldogs wrestled in the second match of the evening against the Pirates. Juan Dominguez (120lbs) got the ball rolling for the Dawgs pinning his opponent in 1:06. Cash Crandall (126lbs) followed with a pin in 51 seconds. Up next for the Dawgs was Cresent Crandall who pinned his opponent in 1:06. The next two matches were won by Bulldogs on points, Raphael DeSantiago (152lbs) won in major fault 12-4 and teammate Broc Smith (160lbs) won his match easily 8-2. In the last contested match of the evening, Ty Smith (106lbs) was all over his Pirate opponent getting a pin in 57 seconds. Bulldogs Jacob Baird (113lbs), Domingo Ramirez (132lbs), Joshua Abbot (145lbs) and Hector Garcia (285lbs) won by forfeiture making the final score 61-12.

The Bulldogs will travel to Reno on Friday, December 19 for the Reno Tournament of Champions and the Spartan Duals on December 29 at Cimarron-Memorial. The Dawgs next home match will not be until February 3 against Boulder City.
