Mesquite Police Thank Trunk or Treat Participants

Trunk or TreatDuring the night of ghouls and goblins, hundreds flocked to the Mesquite Recreation Center to collect their delicious candies, while others displayed their creative Halloween trunks.

Eight spooky trunks were awarded with “The Splash Pad” gift certificates. Those trunks are listed in order by award: 1. Mesquite Rec. Center (Becca, Nick, and Bret), 2. Mesquite Dental (Stephanie, Brenda), 3. Reliance Connects (Stella, Herold), 4.Beat the Heat (Justin, Tori, Craig), 5. Carrie’s Creation (Carrie), 6.Fusion Spa and Solon (Jonice, Cami, Sarah), 7.American Lung Association (Kathy, Sandi, Chris, Shanti, Robert), 8. Virgin Valley High School (Minette, Aleta, Vonda). Tori Goodsell and Kira Swanson were awarded for their creative zombie costumes.

We also want to recognize Mesquite Gaming (Mayra, Kalie, Jason) for their incredible display.

The Mesquite Police Department would like to thank all the donors, which included local businesses, organizations, groups, as well as individuals. MPD would also like to thank everyone for following the many safety tips provided which allowed for an overall safe Halloween in Mesquite. We hope you enjoyed our seventh annual Trunk- or-Treat and expect to see you all next year.
