PrintMesquite Concert Series and Greater Mesquite Arts Foundation present a Country and Rock & Roll show, tonight and tomorrow, November 7 & 8 at 7 p.m. at the Mesquite Community Theatre, 150 N. Yucca St.

Directed by Larry LeMieux, the show will feature local talent in a variety show with something for everyone. There will be singers, dancers, and musicians bringing you some of your favorite tunes from both styles of music.

The Mesquite Community Band will be on hand to play some Country Standards with vocals by Donna Thomas, Felicia Smith, George Clark and Morgan Smith. The band will return later in the show as the Blues Brothers Band fronted by Brian Wursten and John Dearing.

There will be dance numbers by groups from the Releve’ Dance Studio, Mesquite Toes and All That Jazz dancers. There may even be an appearance by the King of Rock and Roll backed by the Mesquite Showgirls.

It looks to be an exciting and entertaining evening with the whole family in mind. Tickets are only $10 and are available at Danielle’s Chocolates, Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery, Chamber of Commerce, Have Boutique Will Travel and the Theatre Box Office (office hours 5-7pm Thursdays and Fridays and one hour before showtime 702-345-4499).
