The Mesquite real estate residential market matched the summer temperatures. The market is getting hot! During August 2014, there was a combination of 47 single family, condominium, and townhome residences closed/sold. This information does include some new home sales, it does not include all new home or private home sales. An additional 35 Mesquite residential properties were placed under contract during this time, as well.

This report is based on data taken from the Mesquite Multiple Listing Service. Since information is entered into this database from a variety of sources, the accuracy cannot be guaranteed. These data are provided for informational purposes, only, and only represent residences sold in the city of Mesquite.

Real estate professionals reported that 30 single family homes closed/sold during the month of August 2014. The average home price was $225,857. The lowest priced home, a 2-bedroom/2-bath, 1020 SF home in the Rivers Bend subdivision sold for $105,000; the highest priced home, a 6-bedroom/5-bath, 4,833 SF home in the non-HOA Chaparral neighborhood sold for $417,000.

During this same time, a total of 17 condos/townhomes sold with an average price of $134,529. The lowest priced residence, a 2-bedroom/2-bath, 996 SF condo in Rock Springs sold for $74,000; the highest priced residence, a 2-bedroom/2.5-bath, 2122 SF townhome in the Via Ventana subdivision sold for $299,000.
