We Care for Animals’ (WCFA) featured pets are Andy, Katie and Sara.
These cute kittens are about 11 weeks old and have had their first vaccines. Andy is black with white trim and his sisters are beautiful calicos. Sara has some gray on her face while sister Katie has some black facial markings. All three are happy and sweet about 11 weeks of age.
Additional Available cats:
Amaretto is a friendly, pretty adult feline. She gets along well with other cats and is a gentle, happy lady. She is a tiger with lots of white on her chest and has a beautiful coat with markings in orange; and
Ruby is a beautiful tortoiseshell. She is friendly and enjoys greeting guests at the door. She would be a great feline for your home.
Available Dogs:
Lily is a very sweet, happy Deer Chihuahua, about 6 months old, spayed, micro-chipped and current on vaccines. She is house trained to a dog door. Lily gets along well with other dogs and is very good on leash. She loves to snuggle.
Come visit our adoptable pets tomorrow, August 23rd, in Suite 1 at 150 N. Yucca in Mesquite from 9:30 until 12:30 pm. We will have several cats and a few dogs for adoption. Please adopt your next furry companion.

WCFA offers a wonderful low-cost/free opportunity to spay/neuter your pets to prevent accidental litters and to keep your pet happy and healthy. WCFA is accepting applications for all breeds and ages of dogs and cats. We are focusing in Mesquite, the Arizona Strip and Bunkerville. Spay/Neuter Assistance Applications are available at Mesquite Veterinary Clinic located at 371 Riverside Road and Virgin Valley Veterinary Hospital at 660 Hardy Way. Kitten season: Female cats can get pregnant as early as four months and a mother cat can become pregnant while still nursing a litter. If you are feeding a stray or feral cat or have a cat that needs to be spay or neutered, please contact WCFA. We can help. Please spay or neuter before there is a litter. Foster Pet Parents needed: WCFA depends on reliable pet fosters to save homeless cats and dogs. The number of homeless pets that WCFA can foster is determined by its available foster homes. Fostering provides a temporary safe and loving home until adoption. Fostering a cat or dog could be the most rewarding thing in your life — saving theirs. WCFA is often confused with the Mesquite Animal Shelter. The Shelter is operated by the City of Mesquite. WCFA is an independent cat and dog rescue and is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. WCFA relies on dedicated pet fosters to provide a safe home until its fostered animals are adopted.
