Mesquite Fire & Rescue submits the following call statistics for the week of 8/4/2014 through 8/10/2014:

Total Calls For Service: 46*
911 Transports: 19
Non Transports: 23
Inter-facility Transports: 9
Fire Related Incidents: 6

8/4/14

E-11, R-11, R-31 — Responded to an apartment complex on N. Grapevine for a General Fire Alarm.  No problem found and system reset.

8/6/14  

E-31, R-11, Inspector 1 — Responded to an apartment complex on N. Grapevine for a General Fire Alarm.  No problem found and system reset. Referred to Fire Inspector for follow up.

T-11, R-31 — Responded to NB Interstate 15 mm 122 for a vehicle into the guardrail.  3 patients evaluated by Paramedics and refused transport to hospital.

8/7/14 

T-11, R-11 — Responded to a Storage Facility on Hardy Way for Water Flow Alarm.  Found system malfunctioning and referred to management for repair.

T-11, R-11, Shift Captain —  Responded to a Convenience Store on Falcon Ridge Parkway for a Water Flow Alarm.  No problem found and alarm reset.

8/9/14   

T-11, R-11, R-31 — Responded to E. Old Mill Rd for an apartment with smoke inside.  Found baby bottle left on stove with no active fire.  Apartment ventilated.  9 patients evaluated for smoke and carbon monoxide inhalation.  All patients refused transport after evaluation by Mesquite Paramedics.

Non Transports include: Patient refusals, lift assists, patient deceased at scene, no patient found, no incident found, incidents handled by other agencies.

*Call totals do not always add up to the Total Calls For Service due to multiple patients/incident types at a single incident.
