Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The Virgin Valley Heritage Museum will be hosting a paper crafts activity on July 26 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Fine Arts Gallery Classroom located at 35 W Mesquite Blvd. There will be two different activities available.  During the first activity, participants will learn how to make paper using the pulp process, which is still used by modern manufacturers today. After that, participants will have the opportunity to learn about paper quilling. Mary Lou Kessler of the Virgin Valley Artist Association has graciously offered to show participants the basics of this paper art form.

The event is free and open to all ages.

A stitch in time saves nine! Craft Series is an ongoing crafting initiative produced by The Virgin Valley Heritage Museum to encourage a love of history through fun traditional crafts.
