All players survived the GAS Club’s Wednesday, July 2 golf matches in 114 degree temperatures. Some faired better than others, of course but no one had a melt down.

The format was a three-man team, best two-ball score on each hole.

The skins this week were quite different, as there were 11 handed out, a new record for the GAS Club, according to Jim Buttler.

The winning three-member team was Dave Calmelat, Glenn Hood and Jim Buttler, who took the win by three strokes.

Closest to the pin winners were Terry Spriggs, Dave Calmelat and Alex Churchich with one each, while John Johnson took two on holes #5 and #8.

Andrew Yeh stuck with his new favorite number, 33, for the back-nine of the course after a so-so posting of 42 on the front-nine holes, totaling 75.
