The Mesquite Manta Rays Swim Team will be hosting a swim meet Saturday, July 12 at the Mesquite Recreation Center Outdoor pool.
According to Nicholas Montoya, Associate Director of the Department, the outdoor pool will be closed to the general public on Friday, July 11 from 4:00 P.M. through Saturday, July 12 until 2:00 P.M. or until the meet is over.
We will have around 70 of our own swimmers from the Mesquite Manta Ray swim team participating in the Swim Meet. Montoya said, “We apologize for the inconvenience that this may cause any one; but our indoor pool will be open at the regular times during the event.”
The meet is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. with warm-ups beginning at 7 a.m.

We Care For Animals offers assistance with Trap, neuter and the return of feral and free-roaming cats, particularly in the Arizona Strip communities.
You can help save community cats in your neighborhood by becoming their caregiver and getting them spayed and neutered. Arizona Strip communities are in great need of foster parents/volunteers in the area.

Join the group as they have a great workout with the choreography, work on some zany characters and share lots of laughs with “Fly Willie.”
