On July 2, 2014 during the regular scheduled meeting of the Beaver Dam/Littlefield Fire District, the Governing Board of Directors passed a resolution for a “Call for Elections” as required by Arizona State Law regarding elections, and the Mohave County Board of Supervisors also approved a resolution to expand the Beaver Dam/Littlefield Fire District Governing Board of Directors from a 3 member board to a 5 member board.

The Beaver Dam/Littlefield Fire District hereby notifies the registered voters of all precincts within the Beaver Dam/Littlefield Fire District that there will be a total of 3 vacancies available to fill on the Governing Board of Directors.

Anyone interested in serving on the board for the betterment of the community within the Arizona Strip are encouraged by the current board members to apply for an expanded board position and run for election this November.

The positions are nonpartisan in nature.  To be eligible for being a candidate the following is required:

1.  You must be a registered voter in the state of Arizona

2.  You must also reside within the current fire district boundaries

The candidates must file petitions for these positions between July 7, 2014 and August 6, 2014 at 5:00 P.M. at the Mohave County Elections Department, 700 W. Beale St., P.O. Box 7000, Kingman, AZ 86402-7000.  They may call the Elections Department at (928) 753-0733, Option #2 for further information.
