On Friday, July 11, 2014, George Gault, Chairman of the Mesquite Regional Business, Inc. (MRB) Board of Directors accepted Dave Ballweg’s resignation from the MRB Board of Directors. Mr. Ballweg, charter member of the Board, submitted his formal resignation to Chairman Gault on Thursday afternoon, July 10, 2014.

Gault stated, “I accept Dave’s resignation with regret. From the study phase through implementation and operation of the MRB, Dave has brought considerable skill and knowledge to the process. And, he has certainly have been more than generous with his time and treasure.”

Until his resignation, Dave Ballweg held the position of Secretary/Treasurer on the Board. Dave is the President/Founder of Load Technology, Inc. (LOADTEC). Loadtec manufacturers specialized electrical power testing equipment. It was started in 1984 and sells and ships its product worldwide. Loadtec moved its operations to Mesquite in 2008 from Las Vegas.

CEO Gaye Stockman shared, “Dave has been generous with his expertise and provided hours of diligent service to the MRB. Dave’s passion for the future economic development of the City of Mesquite has never been in question. Dave originally contributed funds to establish the MRB and has been one of our strongest advocates.”
