The GAS Club seems to be doing very well with the two man team format. On Wednesday, June 18, there was a best ball on all but the par 3’s (had 2 scores). The two teams that placed in the monies this week won by several strokes over all others.

The Ben Bishop and (who else) Bill Losh team took first place by four strokes proving again that Bill is one heck of a partner. Bill played the front side several strokes under his handicap and then Ben started off the back nine with a par and two birdies to put his one away. Larry Mierisch and Andrew Yeh came in 2nd to be the only other team in the contest.

The closest to the pins went to Bill Losh on hole #5, Alex Churchich on hole #8, Andrew Yeh on hole #14 and Dave Calmelat on hole #17, making it hard to believe that not one player was on hole # 2.

Plenty of skins were won for this day with two going to both Yeh and Ben bishop and one a piece to Dave Calmelat and Bill Losh.

Alex Churchich walked with 2nd place monies from the U.S. Open pool.
