Desert Dames treated to personal show

2

The Desert Dames were thoroughly entertained by the Releve Dancers. The Luncheon was held at the Oasis Grill on June 25.

These darling dancers have marched in the Veterans and the Mesquite Days Parade, danced in the Casablanca Variety Show, tapped alongside the MesquiteToes in their Christmas and Spring Spectacular shows, danced in Bransonfest Out West and performed at the Christmas Tree Festival, danced in the Mesquite Community Christmas Show and at Gold Butte Days. In between that, the Releve dancers held Christmas and Spring Dance Revues. A few of the dancers have attended competitions in Utah and Las Vegas, winning first place and advancing on to the national competitions.

Vicki Eckman, founder of the MesquiteToes, has led these dancers in tap. Other outstanding teachers commute from Las Vegas and offer instruction in aerobatics, lyrical jazz, ballet, hip hop, and predance.

President Jan Martin again reminded the membership that Desert Dames promotes friendship through meetings, social functions and special interest groups and she is looking forward to welcoming the Dames at the Bingo Luncheon in the fall.
