The Mesquite Cancer HELP Society (MCHS), located in the Deuce Building, 150 N. Yucca Street, #36,  is opened Monday – Thursday, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, to provide a multitude of services to local residents diagnosed with any form of cancer.

Their services range from financial assistance to help with travel costs to and from medical appointments, prescription costs, and medical bill expenses, as well as providing wigs, soft hats, wheelchairs, walkers, canes and crutches to those in need.

The MCHS also offers an enormous amount of educational material to assist patients, family members and friends understand cancer and the treatment options available.  A Support Group Meeting for anybody touched by this non-discriminating disease is held on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the MCHS office.  These services are available to any resident of the Virgin Valley area.
