With three weeks complete Mesquite can boast three new leaders in four divisions of the State Tournament.

Broad’s N Bob (Debbie Hansen, Marty Wilks, Jane Burgoyne, and Bob Napper) took over 1st place in the 179 & Down Division with 2900.

Oasis Chiropractic’s (Wayne Adams, Dan Hoffman, Maury Hardman, and Gene Peters) 2800 were good enough to hold on to 4th place.

In the 180 & Up Division Mesquite Crew is 10th with a 2717.

The Virgin River’s own Gary Higashi was on fire Sunday. He leads the Singles 180 & Up with a nice 792.

With his doubles partner Ruby Jim their 1407 places them in 7th in the 180 & Up Division.

And Gary dominates the All Events 180 & up Div. by 137 pins bowling 2367.

Mesquite’s third leader is John Kinnear.

He has a 2266 in the All Event 179 & Down Div. and is 2nd in the 179 & Down Div. scoring a 774.

Other notables are Max Burgess’s 743 good enough for 10th in the Singles 179 & Down Div.

Laura Branchinni / Mike Ferris, 1411 and Larry Stineman / Ron Nichols, 1404 slipped from 3rd and 4thto 5th and 6thin the Doubles 179 & Down Div.

Moving into 8th were Marty Wilks and Jane Burgoyne with a 1398.

Darwin Wimer’s 2082 tie him for 5th in All Event 180 & Up Div.

And Jane Burgoyne jumps into 3rd in the All Event 179 & Down with 2212.

Also Jason Peters of Gardnerville, Nevada, rolled a perfect 300 game Saturday in his team event.
