The Virgin Valley Heritage Museum is proud to announce that the original firehouse in Mesquite has been converted into additional display space for the Heritage Museum.  The addition of the old firehouse makes it possible for the public to see more of the museum’s artifacts and displays.

The new display space is broken into several different themed areas.  One area highlights the early farming and ranching in the valley.  Another houses the museum’s permanent veterans collection.

Local youth Jeremy Vogel organized and cataloged artifacts and build display units as part of earning his Eagle Scout award.  Museum Coordinator Erika Marler commented, “The Museum is grateful for Jeremy’s work.  He and those who helped him have left a lasting imprint on the Museum.”
