Early voting for this year’s primary election in Clark County begins Saturday, May 24, and continues through Friday, June 6 for most of Clark County.

Voters may cast their ballots at any of the 83 early voting sites that will be open at various times during the early voting period. A complete schedule of early voting times and locations is available in voter’s sample ballots and through the County Election Department website at www.ClarkCountyNV.gov/vote.

Voters may also cast their ballots on primary Election Day, Tuesday, June 10, at their assigned polling place. Voters who need mail/absentee ballots must submit a mail ballot request to the Election Department by 5 p.m. June 3. The request forms are available at the Election Department offices and through the Election Department website. Also, voters should receive their sample ballots in the mail by Friday, May 23.

Only registered voters will be allowed to cast ballots in the primary election. People who are unsure if they are registered to vote in Clark County should check their registration status by entering their name and birth date in the Registered Voter Services box on the Election Department website. People without access to the Internet may call the Election Department at (702) 455-VOTE (8683).

“Early voting is a great convenience for the citizens of Clark County and has been very popular since it was introduced 18 years ago,” Clark County Registrar of Voters Joe Gloria said. “In every election since 2000, more people have voted before Election Day – either at early voting sites or by mail – than on Election Day and we expect that trend will continue this year.”
