Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a single vehicle rollover accident that occurred early Tuesday (4/29) morning.  At about 3:07 a.m., deputies responded to Scenic Boulevard at milepost 4 where the accident occurred.  Investigations determined that Miguel Angel Toscano, 18, of Mesquite, NV, failed to negotiate a turn and the vehicle rolled.  Toscano was wearing a seatbelt and he did not suffer any injuries.  Deputies smelled an odor of alcohol on Toscano.  During conversations with Toscano, he admitted to have been drinking. Following the field sobriety tests (FST’s), Toscano was taken into custody and transported to the Mesquite Jail where an analysis revealed his blood alcohol concentration (BAC) to be .183%.  He was booked into the jail without incident.  Toscano was charged with  DUI, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .08%, extreme DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .15% and less than 20% and minor consumption while operating a vehicle, misdemeanors.  The vehicle was towed from the scene.
