The Nevada Rural Housing Authority (NRHA) presented George Gault, board president of Mesquite Regional Business, Inc., with its Most Valuable Partner award at its March 21 board meeting.

The authority is partnering with the Mesquite non-profit organization to offer its Home at Last program as a complement to Mesquite’s redevelopment efforts for existing and new businesses. “George has been instrumental in introducing us to key employers in the city and we hope to connect directly with their employees to provide them information on how they can get into a home of their own through our programs,” said C.J. Manthe, the authority’s chief financial officer.

“We’re happy to provide information about NRHA’s programs as an incentive to companies that we’re trying to recruit to the Mesquite area,” Gault said, adding the programs can help create a stable workforce for local businesses by assisting their employees in getting into a home they own.
