Samuel Andelin
Mesa View Regional Hospital is pleased to welcome Samuel F. Andelin, M.D. as an independent member of the medical staff. Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Andelin and his family recently moved to Mesquite from Williston, North Dakota, where he practiced at Mercy Medical Center. “We are looking forward to becoming part of this great community,” commented Andelin. “This is a wonderful opportunity to practice medicine and raise our family in a smaller town environment,” he concluded.
Dr. Andelin earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Mercy Health System Family Medicine Residency Program in Janesville, Wisconsin, specializing in Family Medicine.
Dr. Andelin will be providing care both as a primary care physician at Mesa View Medical Group and as a hospitalist physician at Mesa View Regional Hospital. He will provide care to patients when they are hospitalized and follow-up care after they are discharged. He places a high value on providing a continuum of care for his patients. Dr. Andelin believes in clear communication to patients and their family members, to make sure that questions are answered and concerns addressed.

His family played a pivotal role in his career choice. His Father, also a doctor, encouraged him to go into the medical profession. Dr. Andelin wanted to be a doctor for as long as he can remember, following in his father’s footsteps. For recreation, in addition to spending time with his family and playing golf, he enjoys the art of sculpture which he also learned from his father.
