The Mesquite Chamber of Commerce has been awarded a $6,000 grant from the Nevada Commission on Tourism to create a promotional video for Mesquite which will be used online as well as for DVD distribution.  Mesquite Regional Business presented the chamber with $1,000 in matching funds to help support the project that will be produced over the next few months.

The chamber is to work with the professional team of THS-Visuals Motion Picture Production Facilities who created the Nevada Commission on Tourism statewide campaign video, “Don’t Fence Me In” which is being telecast in several states as well as on online.  The video project is to promote the many places and activities in Mesquite that are not as well known as the local hotels, casinos and golf courses, which also will be featured.  The video will highlight the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery, Mesquite Community Theatre, Virgin Valley Heritage Museum, off-road adventure opportunities, sporting competitions, special events and more.
