In keeping with the spirit of the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery 10th Anniversary celebration during June, Nevada Bank & Trust is joining in the fun with a parallel Coyote Contest.
“Through June 27 we would like to invite the public to visit the bank and guess how many pennies we used to decorate Nevada Bank & Trust’s entry in the Gallery’s Coyote Contest, Robyn Schaefermeyer, Mesquite Branch Manager of Nevada Bank & Trust announced. Nevada Bank and Trust is located at 599 W. Mesquite Blvd., Mesquite, NV.
“We have some fabulous prizes to give to whoever guesses the exact or closest to the exact number of pennies on our coyote,” Schaefermeyer said.
Prizes include a $300 yard makeover from Kokopelli Landscaping Company, a $25 gift certificate from Breadenstuffer’s, and a framed print of your choice (worth upwards of $50) from T.J. Custom Mattes and Frames, Jake Noll.
In addition, the Nevada Bank & Trust will make a donation to the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery for every entry received in the contest.
“We’ll join the Gallery’s celebration on June 27 and announce the winner of our contest as they announce the winning coyote in their contest,” Schaefermeyer said.
Forty coyotes have been decorated by businesses all overMesquitein a contest to celebrate the Gallery’s 10th Anniversary.
All of the coyotes will be gathered into a “Pack” for display on the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery plaza June 27, 4-7pm during Gallery’s 10th Anniversary reception. The coyote voted “Leader of the Pack” will be named that afternoon, and the winning business will receive a trophy and prize. Everyone is invited to join in the festivities by voting for their favorite mascot and attending the reception.
The Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery is open for Coyote voting Tuesday through Saturday, 10a-4p. A themed art exhibition, “The Perfect 10” is featured at the Gallery through June 29.
People can also vote for their favorite coyote at each individual business.
